California - The Golden Coast

The Christie Mims world basement/dog keeper/airport chauffer tour has reached it's last stop: The fabled City by the Bay. 

I've arrived! I'm in California! The humidity does not exist! Yay!

So, at my parents request I've started this blog back up again, since I don't want to share my travels with all of the lovely CityGirls World readers (I love you guys, but - you don't need to see this).

So, my first thoughts about CA etc as they occurred to me:
1. "Wow. It IS sunny here."
2. "Why is it not sunny in San Francisco?"
3. Damn fog.
4. Really? Fog?
5. I can TOTALLY drive meaner than you. I'm from the East Coast. Get out of my way!
6. Why am I so tired?
7. The rental market is THAT tight? Holy god.
8. What does the city have against laundry machines? Why are all the buildings without laundry machines? WHY?
9. Wow. Have I just really moved across the country?
10. Thank god for Amanda and Michal - they have given me a ton of cheese. I love them.
